BLIZHNIY SVET (HEADLIGHT) | 2016

Art installation «BLIZHNIY SVET» (HEADLIGHT) was created as part of annual digital art city festival «PUSK» in Vladivostok in 2016. 

The theme of the event was ««The Future is Near». Wasted tires (50 pcs) were used to create the artwork. Only 7% of tires are recycled in Russia and the question of the utilization of used tires is quite critical. It was important for us to create an object from waste, to draw attention to the issue of resource-saving. We also used scaffolding, chains, ropes and fasteners.
